This retreat is for anyone in need of self-care and rejuvenation who would love to switch off from their busy lives and reconnect with themselves with the use of yoga, meditation and breathwork, rediscover their sense of joy and adventure and explore the beautiful island of Koh Samui with its stunning nature, temples, cuisine and the elephants!

Ko Samui is Thailand's second largest island that lies in the Gulf of Thailand. Known for its palm fringed beaches, coconut groves and dense, mountainous rainforest. It is a compact island and easy to explore so most of its attractions can be seen during the week we’ll spend on the island and I will organise a few trips (optional) to help you explore the island and see its beauty.

Rejuvenate and Recharge

​The Samahita Buffet and Juice Bar serve daily fresh, tasty, nutritious meals all sourced from local produce. The menus are designed to support you in your yoga practice drawing on Ayurvedic principles. Everything is natural and homemade, nothing is processed and where possible products are organic. Meals are well-balanced and carefully planned with a mix of ingredients. The Samahita chefs are careful not to use sugar, iodised salt, MSG or related products and only stable and healthy oils and fats. There is a team of over 10 Thai cooks and a talented head chef making all the food on-site with dedication, care and love. Freely available and included in your stay, are tea, coffee, fruit, daily brunch and daily dinner buffets. As an addition or if you need more there is also a full juice, snack and coffee bar where you can purchase chilled coconuts, smoothies, energy balls, organic coffee, fresh juices, and my favourite coconut ice-cream :-). Filter water drinking fountains are dotted around the venue to keep you rehydrated during your stay.

6 Transformational Vinyasa morning flow yoga practices (no class on 23rd)

5 Gentle Evening Yin/Restorative yoga practices. Please note I've left 2 afternoons off to allow you to explore the island. I will help organise additional trip and be there with you.

All yoga props and mats are provided, but I recommend bringing your own mat for hygiene reasons

Workshop covering nutrition & wellness strategies for optimal health & vitality

Guided walk to local temple: Tuesday 1-3pm (organised by the resort)

Please note the cost of those is not high and you will have an option to relax at the retreat instead, should you wish to.
My Story
I have always been passionate about travelling and Asia has been my favourite place to explore, in particular Thailand and Bali. I love the climate, the people, the beauty of the nature and the culture, the flowers, the offerings and the Buddha statues 😊. I believe travelling expands your mind, empowers you and brings joy and passion into your life, which are so needed for our wellbeing and happiness and which we don’t have enough of!
It is in Koh Samui that 3 years ago after attending a yoga retreat I decided to train as a yoga teacher and start my own business, following my long-term passion for wellness, nutrition and fitness. That trip empowered me to believe it’s not too late to start something new and it has changed the trajectory of my life. Since then I have been deepening my knowledge of yoga, nutrition, wellness and mindset so that I can inspire others to improve their health and wellbeing and empower them to follow their dreams.
When I started my company, I had a vision of running transformational retreats in Thailand or Bali (it’s still on my vision board) so I am so thrilled to be inviting you to my first retreat!

Payments
Non-refundable deposit of £300 is needed to secure the booking, balance to be paid (see Room Types for the full price) the by the end of June 23.
If the retreat is booked later than that the full amount is needed.
All prices and payments must be made to Ania Huth in GBP (£). If you are making a payment from a different currency it will be your responsibility to pay currency conversion charges.

Travel
Traveling by yourself
​
A yoga retreat is a great way to connect to like-minded people. If you are coming alone but wish to stay in a shared room please put this on your booking form and I will do my best to match you with a like-minded person.

Nearest Airport is Koh Samui - please read Samahita's comprehensive guide to current Thailand Quarantine Travel requirements here (as of Oct 22 no tests or vaccination results needed). There are frequent flights to the island with Bangkok Airways. Flight time is approximately 90 minutes from Bangkok. For more information about travelling, visas, weather, what to see etc. please see Samahita's travel tips here.

Airport Transport: You can book your transfer directly through the venue via the Samahita website here
The costs will be divided by the number of people using the transfer. Transfer time is between 30-45 minutes.
